Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to receive services at the Care Center?

In order to access resources at the Care Center we ask that you be 18 years of age unless you accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  We do not ask that you meet any particular income requirements.  Due to the level of work involved in some of our coaching programs we suggest that you have a basic level of stability including stable housing and not participating in the use of illegal substances.  If you are currently in crisis in these areas we would love to refer you to other organizations who specialize in this services and have you reengage in coaching after you have developed stability.

Do you only serve people who live in Loveland or a certain zip code?

No definitely not!  The Care Center is not limited in this way and we are able to serve people no matter where you live. Currently we do not provide transportation to the Care Center for any programs. If transportation is not available we would encourage you to consider other organizations that may be closer to you and deliver services in a similar manner including CityLink (downtown Cincinnati), The Healing Center (Tri-county) and Joshua’s Place (South Lebanon).

What are the requirements to serve?

We ask that volunteers be 18 years of age, complete an orientation, and attend the appropriate training for your role.

I need to serve in order to receive assistance.  Can I do that at the Care Center?

Yes we have opportunities to volunteer to meet the requirements for assistance.  We are also able to offer hours to fulfill community service requirements and volunteer hours required for school.

What is the time commitment?

Your time commitment depends on your serving role.  We have a broad range of ways for you to volunteer,  from a one-time serve to the opportunity to engage in a one-on-one relationship that could last for a year or more.  Visit the Volunteer tab and let us help you find your serving sweet spot.
