Before I started going to The Care Center I was struggling with parenting and didn’t have any support as a single mom. I gained practical skills through their workshops and mentoring, tools that have helped me be a better mom. I have a lot more confidence in meeting the needs of my kids thanks to the programs and support I found at The Care Center.

I had just been laid off and didn’t have any other options at the time. A friend recommend The Care Center and I’m so glad I gave it a chance. They gave me the tools I needed to get back to work. They helped me with career counseling, resume, computer skills, job searching and even finding clothes for interviews. Now I’m enjoying a new career in my field.

I was experiencing a lot of problems in my life when I first heard about The Care Center. I was nervous to give it a try but I’m really glad that I did. The life coaching I received and the workshops helped me get unstuck in areas of life that I had struggled with. I’ve found so much freedom and feel like I’m thriving for the first time in my life.

Through the Jacob’s Ladder program at The Care Center, I had a mentor and the support I needed to stay in school when things got rough. It really helped keep me on track to graduate and plan out my goals for my future. I wasn’t considering college before but now I’m on track to go a local university after graduation and even have a scholarship.
