An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until April 25, 2024
This 4-week workshop will help you build the basic skills needed when using a computer and prepare you for the future learnings while also reducing frustration. You’ll learn at your own pace through a series of 20-30 minute tutorials, while also being assisted by an on-site mentor. Topics include:
- Computer Skills: What is a computer, mouse and keyboard skills, using files, cut/copy/paste, and text editing.
- Internet Skills: Internet basics, using a web browser, internet safety and security, email basics and an intro to Chromebooks.
As you complete tutorials you’ll be entered to win a new chromebook! Dinner and childcare are also provided.
